Collin, Gilbert, made a proud announcement, Wright & Carter that Orlando personal injury attorney, Melvin Wright is awarded with three major honours from his peers in legal community. He has been nominated to serve on the Fifth District Court of Appeals Judicial Nominating Commission. He is named in Florida Legal Elite 2010 for Civil Trial by Florida Trend magazine. Moreover, he is appointed to the Florida Bar Standing Committee on Advertising for 2010-2013.

Melvin Wright exclaimed that he felt proud and honoured for getting these prestigious awards and appointments. He expressed his feelings while he was at the Orlando personal injury law firm Colling, Gilbert, Wright & Carter. He further added that it is flattering more than anything else is that your efforts are admitted in and are properly praised by your contemporaries and fellows of the same field; peers. He also added that he always felt so happy whenever his work and efforts are admitted regarding, and that he believes is the result of his consistent hard work in the field of law.

Top-level attorneys are selected by Florida Trend Magazine on the basis of their area of practicing. Civil Trial category was the group for which Mr. Wright was selected as an envoy.

Mr. Wright also has the honour of being nominated as one of six lawyers for two open positions on Fifth District Court of Appeals Judicial Nominating Committee (JNC). Governor appoints two attorneys from these six nominees to work in the JNC. Total JNCs are 26 in the state. A commission contains nine members total, who is working are spread over a period. Five of the nine members are directly appointed by governor. Rest of the four are selected from a list of nominees approved by Bar. Mr. Wright’s name is included in the Bar-approved list.
